In this TEDx talk, Mike presents "Whales to Windmills: Inventions Inspired by the Sea," a Monterey Bay Aquarium auditorium program that highlights how different inventors have used biomimicry in designing new technologies. The auditorium program has done an outstanding job of focusing on the solutions and opportunities that may be possible in responding to climate change, without directly discussing climate change as the need for these innovations.
