Drawing Connections: Cabrillo National Monument

Check out this beautiful video that's super effective and clear in helping to visualize the impacts of warming and ocean acidification on aquatic animals in nearshore communities. This would be great to use in trainings or presentations preceeded by the Osteoporosis of the Sea and/or Heat Trapping Blanket explanatory metaphor(s) and followed by a great discussion of community-based solutions for climate change taking place in your region.

Well-done, National Park Service! The discussion of the importance of rate of change in the struggle to adapt was an especially key element of this video, and it had a really nice, reasonable tone throughout. To use this resource, you can either grab the link from YouTube or download the actual video file from the URL listed at the top of this page.
