The US Ocean Acidification scientific community has created a website to communicate about OA related events, topics and science. There are specific "teams" dedicated to Citizen Science, Education/Outreach, as well as specific retions. If you are interested in joining this might be a good way to connect with scientists in your area and to get up to date information on going science and policy in your region.
