The National Audubon Society's Strategic Plan for 2016-2020 identifies climate as a major priority, "Audubon will work to protect the 314 North American bird species threatened by climate change. Together we care for the places that brids need now and will need in a climate-changed future. And we will engage more than a million new supporters as advocates for clear actions to help mitigate climate change."

Audubo Vermont is located in Huntington, VT at the Green Mountain Audubon Center. At our state chapter and center, we are turning a strong focus to climate change communication, education, and policy over the next 5 years. We expect our involvement with the NNOCCI study circle to inspire us and drive our efforts in a meaningful and effective direction.
