We are here for the first time as active participants and learners. We hope to take what we learn from the experience, and integrate it into our programming. Dallas Zoo and Children's Aquarium at Fair Park are committed to helping connect people with nature. Our mission is, in short, Inspiring passion for Nature and Conserving Wildlife. We are attempting to make this a reality by integrating learning from workshops like these into our our broader mission statements.
Our mission is to support the Dallas Zoo as an outstanding center of education, entertainment and wildlife conservation.
The Society supports this mission through:
- Fund raising

- Promoting public awareness and participation
- Enhancing the visitor experience

We are making strides to learn more of climate change interpretation in order to present the most current and appropriate materials to our audiences. We hope to become a leader in environmental education, and are doing our best to get there!
